For over 40 years, Noah Israel has been a developer, designer, builder, consultant, and a problem solver. He is currently President and Director of Technology Integration of 3D Sustainable Developments (3DSD), a green-tech company that combines sustainable construction, 3D printing and the utilization of waste streams. 3DSD’s 3D printer is designed to print structural domes for housing and industrial applications utilizing G . Rock TM concrete formulations that Noah has spent over a decade developing.
Driven by the recognition of the need for sustainably sourced construction materials and equitable access to affordable materials, Noah began researching ceramic cements in 2004. He assembled and led a strong development team including several advisors holding PhDs in the field. Through testing of hundreds of formulations, Noah and the team of experts developed a family of proprietary formulations, known as G . Rock TM to be used in an array of applications. During the initial process, Noah discovered the fast curing
property of specific formulations could be applied to 3D printing.
