Joshua Kappel is a founding partner of Vicente LLP, passionate about helping entrepreneurs in the cannabis and psychedelic industries. He co-authored Colorado's Proposition 122, which passed in November 2022, creating access to natural psychedelic medicines through a regulated supervised-use model and decriminalizing personal and communal use. Joshua also helped draft Colorado's Amendment 64, the first state measure to legalize cannabis for all adults.
Joshua assists companies of all sizes in navigating the psychedelic field, focusing on corporate structuring, state and federal law, licensing, and regulatory compliance. He is a founding board member of the Microdosing Collective and the Psychedelic Bar Association, and he has contributed to numerous other nonprofits and private companies.
