Founder and CEO

Eben Sumner is the Founder and CEO of Casco Bay Hemp, a

leading manufacturer and exporter of hemp-based wellness and medicinal products. He

is also Co-Founder of TerraGenix, an environmental company focused on scaled soil

remediation through the use of Industrial Hemp.

With a background in International Political Economy (MA, King’s College London)

and Organizational Communications (BA, St. Edward’s University), Eben combines

strategic expertise with hands-on experience in international trade and compliance,

medicinal and therapeutics manufacturing, policy development, and sustainable business

practices.

Eben sits on the Board of Directors at the Biddeford Saco Chamber of Commerce,

Board of Directors of the Maine Cannabis Council Association, member of the National

Industrial Hemp Council of America, member of Global Cannabis Network Collective,

and member of Seed2Health Learning Health Initiative.  

His policy experience includes navigating complex regulatory landscapes within the

cannabis and hemp industries. His work emphasizes integrity, innovation, and

measurable impact across business, policy, the environment, and sustainability initiatives.
