Former U.S. CIA Director James Woolsey is booked to give a keynote speech at this year’s NoCo Hemp Expo in Colorado. Woolsey will talk about key governmental challenges facing hemp and solutions to getting the industry legal and operational at a federal level.
NoCo runs March 31-April 1 in Loveland, Colorado.
Other keynotes include author and hemp evangelist Doug Fine; leading cannabis attorney Bob Hoban of the Hoban Law Group; and Hemp Oil Canada founder Shaun Crew. They are among speakers from the United States and around the world who will discuss farming, harvesting, processing, technology, innovation, equipment, economics, jobs, environmental impact, sustainability, health, wellness, hemp foods, phytocannabinoids, hemp plastics, hemp composites, hemp building materials, legislation, policy, and regulations.
New to NoCo this year are an Artists and Activists Tent featuring a variety of talks on topics that include organic foods, sustainability, alternative energy, corporate responsibility and social consciousness. A Workshop Tent, will feature demonstrations on hemp building and insulation, paper making, cooking with hemp, and a coffee roasting and infusion demo. A Global Hemp Village of non-U.S. hemp firms is also new this year at NoCo, and will feature a HempBoutique with products from as many as a dozen companies from around the globe.
